Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD is a high-definition revamp of numerous levels from the Tony Hawk skateboarding franchise, including Tony Hawk Pro Skater and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2. The re-release means you can grind bars and pull an ollie in your favorite levels without having to plug in your old Nintendo 64.

While they’ve added new gameplay features (Hawkman and Big Head mode), the team at Activision has kept much of the gameplay and feel from the original. Updated graphics aside, the only thing lacking is the split-screen two-player mode from the original. Much of the music is also a carryover from Pro Skater 1 and 2 with a few key tracks are missing, but definitely not a deal breaker. The game is available for the XBOX 360, PS3 and PC via download on Steam.

Listen in as our very own skate rat Ivan Baird ollies over his nostalgia to review Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD.
