Well THAT was certainly a break. Last time we went to CES was back in 2010, and that was before the show really got up and rolling again. This year though, it’s different.
Why?
EQUIPMENT!
This year I’m ready to get back into some semblance of the saddle with interviews, a few pictures and if you look really closely, you can even see a Flip HD camera in there.
The only drawback this year is that it is just me against Vegas, but I will triumph and return with some computer talk that you can use!
I’ve already got a few interviews lined up and they seem pretty promising:
- Razer
- MSI
- Eton
- PROTECTCell
- Archos
- Sony
- Accusoft
- … and even a bluetooth-controlled paper airplane!
I’ll be posting pics and video as I can over the next 4 days and eventually we will have some great segments for the show. If you think of anything that you really want me to take a look at, let me know in the comments and I’ll add that to the mix.
In the meantime, here are a few pictures to gaze at longingly.

Before CES, I visited Minnesota and saw this amazing museum that really needs to have every single person go through it. It is SO awesome. THERE IS AN ORIGINAL THEREMIN INSIDE AND YOU CAN PLAY IT!
Nice room. And view!
I want to know about e-readers. What’s the next gen going to look like? Also, digital media transfers via human appendages. When will we be able to simply stick our finger in a USB and download info?
